Mango Passionfruit - Herbal Tea

Mango Passionfruit - Herbal Tea

ingredients: rosehips, orange peel, safflower, hibiscus, lemongrass, citric acid, licorice powder, natural mango and natural passionfruit flavors

subjective analysis:
The smell of this tea is really nice in a crisp-fragrant way, but if you want any substantial flavor you should steep the tea for a LONG time, like ten minutes or more. Once you do that, the taste is alright, even if what I tasted was more rosehips and orange peel instead of the "natural mango and natural passionfruit flavors" one is supposed to detect (these elusive flavors are actually more noticeable when you sniff the tea's steam than when you actually drink it). The aftertaste is quite pleasing as well. Overall, though, this tea isn't really very mango or passionfruit, or very ANYthing, for that matter. It would be better if sweetened with a bit of unrefined sugar to intensify what little flavor there is and then served chilled - using honey or regular sugars would mask this tea's subtleties. Rating: a miss
