Ogata Megumi needs no big introduction to most anime fans, especially Sailormoon fans. Her voice, which can range from deep/husky in such roles as Tenoh Haruka in Sailormoon to light and girlish in roles like Emeraude-hime in Magic Knights Rayearth, is very beautiful - and sexy! :p The deep/husky qualities of her voice (which I absolutely love, along with her acting talent and singing voice xp), has landed her quite a few roles in which she plays young men, such as Ikari Shinji in Shinseiki Evangelion, Kurama in Yuu Yuu Hakusho (her very first role), Eagle Vision in Magic Knights Rayearth, and a grade-school-aged Chiba Mamoru in the Sailormoon R movie. It's this last role that has caused me to mention Ogata at the information section of this Shrine - she's the voice of Mamoru as a child! :p

Ogata's other roles in Sailormoon include Petz in the R season, Haruka in the S season, and miscellaneous one-episode characters.

Ogata Megumi was born on 6 June 1965 in Tokyo, which means she's a Gemini... just like Taiki. o_o -_- She shares her blood type of B with Minako, Haruka, and Yaten, ^_^; and unlike most seiyuu, she is not associated with any production company. She's released quite a few solo CDs, including Half Moon (which I have - it's *okay*, but it could be better ^^;), Marine Legend, MO, and Multipheno (which is great *_*).
