I still don't know which song I like better, "Toki o Koete" or this one. They're the only two Sailormoon songs I know of that feature Furuya Tohru himself singing solo, and both songs are so durn good! This song is slower than "Toki o Koete" but it's a bit more climactic; also, the transitions are much better in this song than in "Toki" (except for the cheesy, BAD key change near the end). "Toki o Koete" has a great sort of drive and intensity, especially in the chorus, but Furuya's voice is MUCH better in "Dakishimete Itai."

In other words, both songs have their own bad points, as well as their own good points that even things out in different ways for each song.

I especially like it when Furuya sings a bit of English in this song... "I do love you, ore no inochi..." *hehe* ^^;;; This is a great headphones song, by the way.

So, urm, yeah, download this song NOW! :P Furuya's voice is orgasmic, the music is pretty, and the lyrics are sweet.
