Scenes from the First Sound Drama Album
| Many huge thanks to the defunct Sailormoon Music Archives for the wonderful .mp3's found here. P.S. If you have trouble downloading the larger sound files even after repeated tries, let me know. - Ganymede |
"Bishoujo Senshi-tachi no Junai Koukan no Nikki"
*** track 1 - "Bishoujo Senshi-tachi no Junai Koukan no Nikki" (.mp3 file, 5.2MB)
This .mp3 is of the track that introduces the first sound drama CD. It's about "The Pretty Girl Soldiers' Pure Love Exchange Diary," in which the four Senshi (Minako/Venus doesn't appear until the later sound drama albums) all say a little something about their day in a diary-esque, personal-sounding format. Mamoru doesn't say much in this file, except during his one diary entry at the very end, and it's worth listening to the whole thing to hear what he has to say. *rofl* Trust me, read the translation of the words and you'll see! You'll learn just how Tuxedo Kamen can afford all those roses! XD
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon inside story:
*** track 6 - Mamoru's an anime fan too!? (.mp3 file, 1.9MB)
Zoisite has set up voice acting auditions to trap the Sailor Senshi; in track 6, Usagi and others are going through an anime magazine which explains about the auditions. Mamoru runs into them and notices the magazine, and I'll let the translation above tell you the rest. ^.^ (the following is from another part of Zoisite's voice acting scheme...)
*** track 18 - Tuxedo Kamen appears (.mp3 file, 2.3MB)
Previously, in track 17, Zoisite challenged the Senshi to a "word-chain-game." I strongly suggest you read the translation to track 17; otherwise, the word game and track 18 will make no sense. Anyway, what happens is that at the end of track 17, the Senshi seem to be losing the word game, and in track 18, Tuxedo Kamen appears to bail them out. However, Tuxedo Kamen doesn't behave the way one would expect.
Quiz: "Dekinakattara, oshioki yo!"
*** track 24 - Question 1 (.mp3 file, 1.7MB)
*rofl* I strongly recommend you download all six of the .mp3 files above. In the files, Mamoru and Luna host a game show/quiz show called "Quiz: 'If you can't do it, I'll punish you!'" The contestants are the four Sailor Senshi playing against Umino. Yes, Umino. As you can imagine, this makes for a VERY hilarious situation.
Ending
*** track 30 - Ending (.mp3 file, 1.9MB)
The sound drama ends with each seiyuu (voice actor) saying a short little piece; Furuya Tohru, Mamoru's seiyuu, is the last seiyuu to speak and he ends with: "Farewell, till next time." The other seiyuu are Mitsuishi Kotono as Usagi, Han Keiko as Luna, Tomizawa Michie as Rei, Hisakawa Aya as Ami, Shinohara Emi as Makoto, and Nanba Keiichi as Zoisite and Umino. Funny thing is, instead of saying: "I'm Nanba Keiichi, the voice of Zoisite and Umino Gurio," Nanba says "I'm Umino Gurio, the voice of Zoisite." *L* What a nutcase, ne? >:D
