Haruka! o_o Well, let's see... She's pretty, she has a great voice, she's a track star and a star race car driver, she's courageous, she wants "to be the wind," o.o;;; she gets highly jealous whenever someone seems to be giving Michiru "attention," ^_- and I want to marry any twin brothers she has! O.o
Anyway, ^^; I think that it's pretty obvious to most Sailormoon fans why Haruka's on this page (the short version of the story is that she's Michiru's lover and her partner in codependency :p - if you want to know more, you'll need to read my in-depth profile on Michiru at the information section of the Shrine), so I won't say much about her. ^^; Suffice to say that if you already know why Haruka is on this page, I think we all agree that Haruka must have good taste to be Michiru's number one groupie, o.o and that it's no surprise that Michiru is Haruka's number one groupie in return. ^_- |
Suzuki Masanori:
 |
 |
Masanori only appears in episode 107 as the VotD (Victim of the Day :p). He's an adorable (c'mon, we all know I'm sappy :p) ten-year-old artistic genius whom Chibi-Usa falls in love with when they meet in the same art class - in fact, the episode title is "Geijutsu wa Ai no Bakuhatsu! Chibi-Usa no Hatsukoi" or "The Arts Are an Explosion of Love! Chibi-Usa's First Love."
Unfortunately for Chibi-Usa, Michiru is taking an art class of her own in the room next to the one she and Masanori are in, and Masanori has a huge crush on Michiru (to the point that he sculpts a statue of Michiru with angel wings! o.O;;;). One day, while Chibi-Usa watches, Masanori waits outside the building where the art classes are being held with a bunch of roses in his arms, and he gives them to Michiru when she arrives as a symbol of his "passionate love," o.o;;; blushing the entire time while doing so and generally acting like an ordinary ten-year-old straight boy who has a crush on some glamourous older woman. xp The picture on the left shows Michi kissing the kid in thanks for the gift.
Anyway, -_- there you have it, folks! Suzuki Masanori, our youngest Michiru groupie! o.o |
Tsukino Usagi:
 |
 |
-_- You're probably wondering why I included Usagi in the groupie list, so let me explain as best I can. In episode 93, Usagi, who has been upset because she feels she's not up to Mamoru's level (i.e. his maturity, the fact that he's in college, et cetera), spends some time with Michiru. Watching Michiru play the violin, she comments on Michiru's grace by calling her an ideal princess, and as they walk together later, Usagi is pleased/relieved when this "ideal princess" admits that she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life, because Usagi feels just the same way. However, when a boy comes up to Michiru and comments that he's a fan of her paintings, Usagi realizes that the only reason Michiru is unsure of what to do in her life is because she has too many talents. Wanting to emulate Michiru's elegance, Usagi tries to play Michiru's violin, but merely scares away people who hear the noise she makes.
Usagi admires and likes all of the Outer Senshi, but in Michiru's case she admires the elegance/poise and princess-like qualities she sees, qualities which she aspires to, and I've included Usagi on the groupies page for that reason. ^_^ |
Hino Rei:
 |
 |
Calling Rei a Michiru groupie is a REAL stretch, but I mentioned her mainly so I could babble about something:
Ever notice how Rei gets paired with Michiru in certain scenes? Like in the S movie, where they attack the Snow Dancers together, or in episode 171 of SailorStars where they end up having to fight together when the Senshi get split up into various groups, or scenes like the ones in episodes 95 and 108, where Rei cheers for Michiru while Minako cheers for Haruka.
Another thing to note is that just as Rei, with her training at her grandfather's shrine and her various spiritual powers, is the most psychically inclined of the Inner Senshi, Michiru is the psychic of the Outer Senshi, able to sense events, have prophetic dreams, see images in her Deep Aqua Mirror, and so on.
No, I'm not saying that these things make Rei a Michiru groupie. :p I just brought this up cause Michiru's my favorite out of all the Senshi while Rei is my favorite out of the Inner Senshi, so I just find the minor similarities between them and the scenes where they appear together (like in the S movie and episode 171) to be really cool. *_* That's all I wanted to say really, cause Rei's not much of a groupie unless you count the fact that she cheers for Michiru as evidence... Hmm, well heck, then maybe she IS a groupie! :p Forget I said anything. :p |
*cough* I'm just blabbing pointlessly now (surprise surprise xp), so I'll stop here. If you think of anyone else who should be on this page, do let me know. ^_^ |
