Senshi no Omoi - Ganymede's Blatherings:
"Senshi no Omoi" is Michiru's SailorStars song, and part of Sailor Neptune's SailorStars CD single; incidentally, Michiru is the only Outer Senshi with her own SailorStars single/song. Well, Haruka has "Initial U," but it isn't even sung by Haruka's voice actress, so there! :P
"Unmei wa Utsukushiku" is great, but "Senshi no Omoi" is a better song overall, not to mention the fact that it's much better for Katsuki-san's range than "Unmei wa Utsukushiku." Katsuki really deepens her voice to make it enigmatic and rich all throughout the CD single and the effect is great, not only in the song but in the preceding monologues as well. There's also the added bonus that the excellent lyrics to "Senshi no Omoi" are written by Takeuchi Naoko herself.
Together, the four .mp3 files available at this page for you to download make up the entire Sailor Neptune CD single, and the entire single is great... though I will admit if you're the impatient sort (as I can be sometimes ^^) you'll want to fast forward straight to "Senshi no Omoi" without listening to the monologues at the beginning, even though they're darn good.
If you have a good voice, try downloading the karaoke version of the song... it's exactly the same as the regular version except there's no one singing - YOU provide the vocals. ^.^ If you're wondering what difference between the karaoke version and the instrumental version is, it's that the instrumental one actually has a melody provided by guitar, while the karaoke version has no melody whatsoever. (Incidentally, the instrumental version of the song is what is played in the background of Michiru's monologue, while the Orgel version is played in the background of Michiru's poem.)
