Ganymede's Darkroom - 2008 Photos (March)
29 March:   (Yeah, you know the drill! I went hiking along the coast at Año Nuevo State Reserve, a coastal reserve that sits mid-way between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz on the California coast. The day was cool, strong spring winds were whipping the sea into a froth, the wild strawberries were in bloom, the sky was a bright and misty gray, all the plants were dew-gilded, the caterpillars were going to town, and I even experienced one of the LOWEST low tides I'd seen in a long time! Enjoy!)          Wild strawberries blooming, in the third and fourth photos:          In the first photo you can see Año Nuevo Island in the background:    Who is this Dukes of Haggard asshole? XD I guess we'll never know:          Portabellas in the Mist:    The bench in the second photo is new. I'm not happy it was installed; it's pointless and it ruins the view:    The first photo shows how low the tide is; it was much lower earlier in the day:       Don't click the first photo if the dead crab above grossed you out.
