Below is a list of mythology, astrology, and opinion pages for the main protagonists of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. If you're wondering why I've omitted Kaioh Michiru/Sailor Neptune and Chiba Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen from the list, that's because I have actual online shrines dedicated to them and within those shrines I have more than enough mythology/astrology information. You can get to those two shrines through the Anime/Sci-Fi/Fantasy by Ganymede portal.

As a self-styled student of mythology and astrology (I've won national awards for my mythology knowledge) and Sailormoon fan, I made this page so that I could have an excuse to analyze and discuss the mythology and astrology related to the main protagonists, as well as give my general opinions on the main characters. I apologize in advance, but I do not have info on the Sailor Senshi's birthdates and blood signs and favorite hobbies and all that - you can find that at any good Sailormoon information site. ^_~ My sites are dedicated solely to the astrology and mythology behind each character.

Some important things you should keep in mind before viewing the mythology, astrology, and opinion pages below:

1. Although I've received national awards for my "expertise" in Greek and Roman mythology, and although I have taught myself much astrology, the only mythology and astrology you will find at a certain character's page will be that which is related to that character, and even then I intend to limit much of my ramblings to *how well* the mythology and astrology relating to that character actually fits her. Therefore, if you want really comprehensive info on astrology and mythology as opposed to info that's specific to certain characters, please go to a different website or to your library. ^_^

2. Even though Takeuchi Naoko mostly used the Roman names of mythological figures when she was finding names for her Sailormoon characters, I will use the Greek names at this website instead. I do this because, as any student of mythology knows, almost all Romans gods and characters are facsimiles of original Greek mythology figures. Also, all the mythology connected to the Sailor Senshi is Greek and not Roman, so it makes more sense to use the Greek names. Therefore, if you are used to the Roman names because the only exposure you've had to mythology is through Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon or something, please click here for a Greek-to-Roman mythology name conversion chart that will help you understand this website better.

3. For some reason my opinion pages, and to a lesser extent my mythological and astrological pages, can have a tendency to stir up strong feelings of resentment in some of my readers. *rofl* XD In fact, I have a page dedicated solely to the flames I've received (the link is below, after the list of mythology, astrology, and opinion pages). When you read through The Sailormoon Citadel's pages, PLEASE remember that these are OPINION pages and opinion pages alone. The whole point to an opinion page is to espouse a subjective view, and there's no reason to argue with me or resent me just because we have a different favorite Sailor Senshi or because we like characters for different reasons. To that end, if you disagree with anything I say here, don't flame me, cause I won't listen. :p Just contact me *politely*, and if you bring up good points I might even revise my pages accordingly as long as you're civil (if not, you'll end up on the flames page, and no one wants that... *L* xp).

4. For those who hunt images: only three pictures (all three are pics of Meioh Setsuna/Sailor Pluto), are available for the taking from the Citadel. The rest of the pics at the Citadel were captured and edited by me, Ganymede, and therefore may NOT be taken.
