Welcome to Tay Trefenwyd's (me :P) Shannara parody site. Please read the quick notes below before you read my works, as these notes will help you understand the parodies better.

1. My favorite Shannara character is Wil Ohmsford (Tay Trefenwyd is a close second), and since my favorite Shannara book is The Elfstones of Shannara, most of my parodies focus on Wil Ohmsford and Elfstones. Still, you'll understand my parodies best if you've read all eight Shannara books.

2. Unless otherwise stated, the Tay Trefenwyd mentioned in my parodies is actually ME, James Sanghyun Han, under the alias of Tay Trefenwyd. ;) This explains why the Tay Trefenwyd in my parodies will have knowledge about such things as computers, Japanese restaurants, and Leo DiCaprio. xp

3. My parodies are all done in script format, as if one was writing a play. As an example, instead of writing something like this:

Tay picked up the phone and said, "Hello, Trefenwyd residence."

I would actually write something like this:

Tay: *picks up phone* Hello, Trefenwyd residence.

See the difference? :>

4. My parodies are a very random, very "stream-of-consciousness" type of writing (I consider it one of the purest forms of writing that I do, though it's certainly not the best). Therefore, if you do not understand what I'm saying in my parodies, don't feel bad; in the same vein, if you e-mail me nicely or even flame me saying that you can't understand my parodies, I won't feel bad either. :p In fact, my parodies start to get old even to myself, and I don't really like my first few parodies anymore since those were being written when I was starting out writing parodies in general and I didn't have my style or method down yet.

These works are not meant to be "for the masses" or whatever - they're self-indulgently meant to give me and any fellow Shannara fan who can follow my line of thought a good laugh. If you want to see one of my "polished" works, feel free to visit my literature site. :P

5. Legal stuff: first of all, the characters in my parodies are created by Terry Brooks and they belong to him and his Shannara series. However, the parodies themselves are the result of MY intellect (?) and hard work and it would greatly upset me if you plagiarized my words in ANY way. Besides, after reading my parodies, you probably wouldn't want to touch them with a ten-foot pole, much less copy them and/or take credit for them yourself. ;P So I don't know why you would want to, but just in case, please do NOT copy my words and post them at other websites, be they your own sci-fi/fantasy site, or a message board, newsgroup, etc. Whether it be for online or offline use, I do not want you to copy my words; even if you intend on giving me proper credit, I do not wish you to do it. Instead, please direct people to WOOL - Wil Ohmsford On-Line. :)

6. Oh yes, and please read these parodies in chronological order. The parodies at the top of the list are the earliest ones, while the ones at the bottom are the most recent. Therefore, whenever I add new parodies, they'll be at the bottom.

Now, on with the parodies! XD

(And do mail me and tell me what you think of my parodies! :p)
